Telelearning is the only company in the UK to exclusively specialise in training and consultancy services in the area of telephone healthcare.
This makes us the number one provider of telephone triage and telephone consultation skills training in this unique and often highly risky area of clinical care.
Our company (formerly know as Telephone Consultation Services) offers expert training services either in-house or externally across all of the UK, Ireland and internationally, including Australia. With almost two decades of experience in this specialist area, no other healthcare training company can offer the same level of knowledge and skills in relation to telehealth as Telelearning can.
Our Managing Director, Sally-Anne Pygall, is one of the leading experts in telephone triage and consultations in the UK. With many years’ experience as a senior manager in the area of telephone triage/consultation work in Primary Care and unscheduled care provision (including out of hours services), Sally-Anne is able to offer unrivaled experience and knowledge in training and consultancy services for telephone healthcare. She has worked in the private and public sector, as well as social enterprise organisations.
Sally-Anne regularly trains on behalf of the RCGP, as well as deaneries across the UK, but the majority of Telelearning’s work is within General Practice and Out of Hours Services, training both clinical and non clinical teams. We also offer training in other areas of telephone healthcare services and telephone helplines, such as Community Nursing or Health Care at Home, Single Point of Access, Rheumatology Helpline services and Occupational Health.
Telelearning deliver our own training courses which have been specially developed for doctors, nurses, allied healthcare professionals, healthcare assistants, receptionists and call handlers. Alternatively, we can work with your organisation to develop bespoke training programmes or quality assurance tools that specifically address your individual needs.
A recent addition to our training programmes has been in team working and team building. We have witnessed the power of an effective and cohesive team when it comes to improving patient access and workload. Our specially developed courses help teams of varying skills sets, personalities and challenges to come together and move forward with a new and dynamic approach to delivering patient care.
We also offer online or ‘e-Learning’ courses, which have proven indispensable for organisations who cannot release all staff to attend a classroom based course. Further courses and text books are currently being developed.
